[NEW YORK] A prestigious mid-sized firm is seeking an attorney with 3-5 years of private equity fund formation experience (hedge fund formation experience is a plus but not required) and who is fully conversant in the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and related regulations and interpretations. The candidate should also have familiarity with the OCIE presence exam process and the ’33 and ’34 Acts. Experience conducting mock audits and responding to OCIE deficiency letters would be strongly preferred and familiarity with collateral services (i.e. prime brokerage, administration and back-office) would also be a plus.
